What is Qi exactly? Can it be harenst in any special way or is it just something that only your body can handle in use with your bodies movements and whatever..... -_-'

I hope this isn't a troll....

Qi is your life energy.....

Yes, they are called qi balls, and you project them toward your enemies...:D
Depends on who you talk to.

Anyone can throw Qi balls.

You just have to press RIGHT+ANGLE+ DOWN. If you mess up and do it backwards, you'll probably Dragon Uppercut someone by accident.

Those are the blue-white chi balls... I want to convey the green chi ball technique. Any hack can throw that one... it takes a true master to throw the green knock out chi ball from anything more than a few feet.

Actually, qi is as much breath as it is "life energy" or whatever.

It's only breath when you press UP+DOWN, then LEFT+DOWN.

Qi or Chi is really just a complex interpretation of the methane gas buildup in your bowels. The "energy" can be projected in many ways, and if you are a master it can even be ignited.

Thanks guys, but I was really serious about this question. Giving me all this stuff about up+down+punch and stuff.... But it was pretty funny lol...

The standard answer: Qi is energy, life force, pranah, that which flows through all of us and gives us life.

The reality: Qi must be experienced. Words fail.

Right. As mK says, words fail.

What is the energy of YOUR life? WHO is behind the mask that you frequently display? The answers that you experience for yourself are part of the key to Qi.

The Chinese, IIRC, have different 'versions' of Qi- the weather is a form of Qi, the heat of a flame, the healing qualities of a plant, etc. For a human being, maybe, it is the quality of conciousness, movement, breath, bodily heat, sexual energy, flexibility, etc.

"Harnessed" is a bad way to look at it, IMHO. "Freed" might take you to better pastures... :)

One of many possible beginning ways to look at Qi: consider the energy of your body as a flow.... so, if you breathe [?] are going going WITH the flow, or going against it? ;)

Oh, there's a freakin' Koan... :p
