Hi, does anyone have any links to some video clips of what Taiji would look like done in a fast form or practical application? Thank you.

If you can't find anything I will digitize my Sifu's form execution.

He has a few demoes on his Vidoe tape and one of them is done at full speed.

Cheers.

www.taiji.de (http://www.taiji.de) has an application video for the Yang form. Lots of other videos, too.

In answer to your original question, its worth looking at www.taiji.de go to the media and then go too the chen
Taiji realplayer link. There's a somewhat staged fight, but
it gives you an idea.

It is a good clip. So your Si-Gung is Chen Xiao Wang ? The dude is awesome you just look at the size of his thighs and you know the guy is rock solid. My Si-gung is Chen Zheng Lei, one day I'll make the trip to Chen's village, hopefully when the SARS thing is over :-P

Andrew.

Nope. I do Chen Xiao Jia.

The old lady doing the Kwan Dao is Chen Liqing(my teacher's teacher) unless I am mistaken.

The ISCT was scheduled to have had a 1 week seminar there end of last month but it was cancelled due to SARS.
Which is a pity as an excursion to the Shaolin Temple was also planned.
:(

Close to where I live we can study either large or small frame, and we get quiet a few Teachers from Chen Village over a few times a year for seminars and similar.

Cheers.
