She wrote it, but he had a dream about hearing Spanish trumpets and added that to the song himself, which in my mind, is what really makes the song.

I thought about that too. She was the definition of "a good woman". The haunting image of her looking at Cash in the video of "Hurt" is cemented in my mind.

The Hurt video had to be one of the most touching videos I have ever seen. Gave me goosebumps. It's a flippin shame it was even aired on the same channel that they play rags like Britteny Spears on.
