View Full Version : i need a new workout

i've been doing weight training and cardio for sometime now, i've developed a pretty good level of fitness but i want something different.

can anyone give me a good routine that can be done 3-5 days a week for improving my bodyweight to strength ratio? i want to feel lighter and bouncier. i want to start to learn some gymnastics along with some le parkour in the summer so i'll appreciate any help you guys can give that will help with this.

it's summertime… go outside and play… play soccor… go MTBiking… swimming… he\\… creep out the lil kids and they mommies and play on a jungle gym or something…

4 day workout-
day 1/3 - strength, weights

3 sets of 20 curls, 1 minute rest between each
50 monkey jumps (squat all the way down, jump as high as you can)
3 sets of 20 rowers pulls, 1 minute rest between each
50 side to side jumps, as far as you can
3 sets of 15 dips, 1 minute between each
25 1 leg jumps, as high as possible
3 sets of 20 pushups on pushup bars, 1 minute rest between each
25 1 leg jumps, other leg
3 sets of 10 pull ups, 1 minute rest between each
50 more monkey jumps
3 more sets of curls, 3 more sets of rowers pulls
stretch

day 2/4
speed, power
100 punches in deep horse, 5lb dumb bell in each hand
50 crunches
100 punches in deep horse, 5 lbs in hands
50 more crunches
50 backfists in deep bow stance, 5 lb
25 leg lifts
50 backfists other arm, switch bow, 5 lb
2 minutes in horse
200 reverse punches as fast as possible, no weights
25 crunches
75 backfists empty hands, as fast as possible
25 more crunches
75 w/ other hand

thanks shaolin do!!! im gonna give that a go. could you just clear up for me what the following are:

rowers pulls
bow stance
reverse punches

and what sort of tempo do you do the exercises like curls?
