Richie Barathy

I am trying to find any information that I can on Richie Barathy and his training methods. I remember seeing him years ago on TV doing spectacular breaking feats. He had a school in New York that I understand taught American Combat Karate. One of his students was Mark Gastineau of the New York Jets. I believe Barathy died about 10 years ago. Any information would be appreciated.

Yeah, he had a degenerative disease of some sort, right? Can't remember specifically what it was now.

Held a bunch of records for breaking as well. (Including his hand.)
