HGH stands for Human Growth Hormone which is secreted from the pituitary gland at the base of your brain.
The production of this tails off sharply in your early twenties and takes abit of a nose dive as you head towards mid 30's.
Recent research has suggested that reduced levels of HGH as we get older are responsible for a lot of the symptoms of getting older ie more difficult to gain and maintain muscle mass, tiring more easily, less general energy, healing from injury less quickly.
The current stuff on the market generally includes a ****tail of substances designed to stimulate your pituitary gland to produce more HGH.
The claims are pretty wild, whether or not they are true I cant say from personal experience. Bottom line though is if you're under 25 you will certainly get very little out of one of these products.

Bodybuilders use this like seroids. It produces some good growth if used properly with training and diet. The growth it produces is in the muscles and skeletal. It is permanent growth in the bones and if used too long you can see signs of it in the brow and upper cranium (forehead). Kinda makes people look like a crow magnon if used too long.
