We have lots of bauxite, good coffee, and some amount of gypsum and limestone. a few Mineral Springs. and as far as i know a C0ckpit region(stupid censor) thats mostly unexplored(but don't take my word for it). And theres also weed ,if you smoke it.

I think the greatest fun one might have is escavating (if possible) the greatest and most sinful place on the planet since sodom& gommarah and before vagas where all the pirates used to hang out. You won't find dinasour bones down there but I think it would be cool if we actually had a real museum of any worth. Youd laugh at us if you only knew.

It's possible you'll find some intersting things here if you know where to dig, I think this entire region used to be volcanic, so there should be some weird stuff here somewhere.

If all else fails, we have sunshine, and lots of it. We're friendly to foreigners, and once you get used to the culture and the laid back lifestyle you'll probably want to come back , or even stay.

Also...theres nothing that will interest you here in kingston. so unless u like cities (i don't) then i suggest other parishes, which really present the more beautiful, and rural aspects of the island.

it's illegal to smoke week here believe it or not, and not everybody does it. the vast majority of us arent criminals, according to a survey theres just about 3 million ppl here and 3 million jamaicans overseas so , not alot of us in general.
Weed Smoking Criminals appeal to hollywood directors sensibilities, although I can't argue with the fact that its based on an unfortunate reality that some of us fall into that category.

You'll find alot of mongrel dogs here, and for some reason people seem to breed lots of dobermen, german shepards or rotties. those are the most common and i think in that particular order.

Cats again the majority of which are mongrel (if that is the correct term for that kind of cat)

the people (mongrel increasingly so :p ) our motto , out of many one people, some take it very literally which i dont mind.(African,Chinese,Indian, Syrian, European)

Well,shall we start from my profile? There it reads "the land of forgotten sediments".By this,I refer to local geology.
Due to ice ages and such stress,only the oldest rocks (paleozoic) do remain (with very little exception,the youngest ones).For this reason,local natural history will remain puzzling forever.This breaks my heart (do not know whether this information was of interest to you).As far as nature goes,waters (lake) and wood (forest) are highly abundant (the country is sometimes referred to within these characters).First people to inhabit Finland (as presently understood) were Neanderthals,which happened at least 100 000 years ago.
Just some random,perhaps unnecessary facts.
I´d like to ask you to ask something,if you wish to know more.

Iguana, Ground Lizards, Croaking Lizards (a variant of the american common house gecko, for some reason ours are albinos),Green tree lizards. Harmless Garden snakes(rare)
and Alligators.

Mammals
Coneys (possibly extinct), Mangoose, Cane Rats, Bats (referred to as rat bats), seriously about the deers by accident, I think a few years ago someone carried them here on the way to somewhere else and they escaped, and now theyre breeding.
Goats (we like to eat these, especially curried, I hear aussies think thats gross)

basic livestock, cows, pigs, horses ,donkeys

Aviary
The most interesting ones would be the John Crow (Cathartes Aura aka turkey vultures), The Doctor Bird/Humming bird (our national bird cause it has our flag colours black green and gold),
Jamaican Owls, Potoo, swifts , doves, crows, swallow, kingbirds, mockingbirds
really a ton of birds local and migratory

I suppose a fair amount of insects. most common being black ants, red ants, mad ants, soldier ants, basically ants. I think ants are cool by the way, very organized and efficient things.

Just came back from Muay Thai. affiliated with the Vale Tudo. I got my ass kicked pretty much, but of course, I sparred with a JKD instructor, and the MT trainer, (a very very nice person btw) who is a 7 ft tall negro from the bronx, with 20 years of ring experience. considering he he also held back..:eek:
and then afterwards I got to see the backsides of wrestling.. literally. getting somebodys ass in the face so that u cant breathe is one of the most horrible things I have ever experienced...

And now.. I'll write down this weird dream I had last night.

Me and my girl went to Canada were all buildings were small shops with old furniture. In one shop I meet... Snoop Dogg :D He offers me some pills and gives me his adress and wants me to call him later. Then, I for some reason slap someone and then runs to this small apartement/house were me and another person (can't remember who) are hiding from the ninjas :D . So..... Ghost ninjas attacks us but I beat them with my heavy nunchacks. They sorta vanish when they die. Then, I sense that they will soon kill me and my friend so we make a plan to bust out and run when the door opens and in steps two more ninjas! But they'r human ninjas this time. So My friend who hid himself behind the door smashes a big hammer in one of the ninjas heads and I knife the other one in the troath. 7 times. We then steal their clothes and walks out from the room, pretending to be the two ninjas. We manage to escape.

Right.Here´s a strange one that I recently "came up" with;

I was birdwatching (which I like),trough the window actually,with binoculars equipped.Some rare species were even stopping by,which surprised me.
Then,for some reason I go to open the door,only to notice that before me there stands a gigantic,flightless bird which resembles an ostrich.
I´m like "Tell me about it!" ;) and then this bird (bigger and bulkier than me) starts pecking me and I try protect myself with forearm blocks.By this time,I try pushing the bird,which tries to get into the house,out of my face and manage to succeed (I guess).

oh yeah , i do recall a dream sometime within the past few days.
i was teaching at a strange kwoon, there were people there despondent , used to training a certain way, i remember that they were exhausted lying on the ground... I felt ostricized for being too extreme... although i have no recollection of what i did.
plus there was an air of tension there that i wont get into.

more of a bad dream for the way it left me feeling , though not a nightmare i suppose... if theres any distinction.

That Xingyiquan is the art I wanna focus on in my MA life, and that I wanna practice it real serious from now on. It is after my recent experiences with full-contact hardcore martial sports, that I found that XY is the right art for me, and I wanna be good at it, and make it a respected art.
Part of the reason is also that a EF member e-mailed me, and asked if it was true that my teachers' teacher was Lin Jian Hua, which it is. I e-mailed him back, and he replied that he actually knew of my teacher Jakob Sonnenberg, since Master Lin had spoken very highly of him. My teacher does not speak an awful lot of his training in China, but it turns out that he was an oustanding pupil under master Lin. this has inspired me greatly.
So from now on, u can rightfully call me a Xingyi-man:cool:

BTW about movies. I saw Bad Boys 2 the other day and I was possetivly surprised. It was way better then the first, I laughed myself silly. (And I don't really dig 'Willy'.) I recomend it.
Pirets of the whatever... it was ok but nothing special.

Of course.
I just found it odd, no other MT peebs promotes qigong. He also said that its necessary for MT, since the breathing can make your blood circulation better (which I knew), and since MT is a tough sport, u can get brain damages and strokes and such. Qigong can prevent these things from happening.
