I chase hares and rabbits too :D One time I almost caught one because I took it by surprise. I was on my bike in a downhill when I spotted one. So I raced downhill like a madman and threw myself at it and it just barely got away

fc- an relative of mine was an expert on catching rabbits during the war. He used to track them and catch them bare hand. So I kinda have this idea that I have to catch one some day.

I remember people were mostly negative about him, but what was said about his breaking? I don't remember. To me it didn't look as if he was very focused he just hit it as hard as he could until it broke. As I'm taught this is the complete opposite of the correct way of doin it.

yeah, I'm only familiar with some Reggae. I've never really listened to Dancehall, and I'm sure that Sean Paul is not a good ambassador for Dancehall. The only other DH MC I know of is Elephant Man.

My stepping stone to making music was Fruity Loops. I've moved on to the likes of Cubase, Sound Forge, Logic Audio, and others.
Its integeral you have a multi-track digital recorder(cubase) if you plan to put lyrics over it. The beats you 1st make on Fruity Loops may sound bland, but stick with it. You have to amass a huge bank of .wav samples in order to have a personalized feel to it. I personally have 2000 .wav samples that I downloaded/created/chopped. You have to have a slicing program to, I suggest Sound Forge. If you ever have any questions or would like some samples, ask me. I'd love to help out a start up producer.

by the way..buying a cd , you're NOT going to get the essence of dancehall...you have to experience the dancehall for yourself..go to a session .. hear a sound system playing... or if you can find a cd or tape of an event ( a good one), or better yet video footage
then you might have a better understanding.

I hope this helps... Its a part of our culture so I'm trying to explain here. not saying that we're better than anyone or anything , just saying u probably should take it in live and in the flesh to get a better understanding...

Hey nice list. Only know about Company flow and Atmosphere. The later is one of my fav artists ever. Slug is the guy who made me see that hip hop isn't really what they show on mtv. The Roots had a simillar effect. Have u heard any Ursula Rucker? It's not really rap it's spoken word, poetry. I like it alot, check it out.

Dude, my Splashing Hands videos finally came in the mail, and I have to say I am very impressed. Its boxing techniques are unparalleled. Its speed! Its power generation! ****, this stuff blends sooooo well with Shuai Chiao. All of the attacks put you on the inside and in perfect position for many different SC throws. The straight leg kicks lack, but this so far seems to be the only drawback.

5. Kick Block/ Jab Strike
6. Kick Block/ Jab Strike/ Rolling Block/Jab Strike
7. 500 Switching Stances/Jab Strikes
and topped it off with 30min of Ab Work.

I just worked the basics tonight. I did all a countless amount of times...My arms feel like rubber and my legs feel like they should fall off...

Chrimmus my ass. Im writing a 9 page paper, and afterwords I get to write a 13 page paper. YAY!

Im sore from training yesterday. Lots of weight lifting, beat my heavy bag until it fell out of the roof. Gotta hang it back up today. Need to figure out how to hang my headache bag as well, and I gots to put the 2nd side on the 2 sided rock pole.

I woke up today to other worldly pain... I did my usual basics routine and added slow shifting stances and endurance sets of as many jab punch combos I could. I feel like I'm going to fight in the UFC or a boxing circuit...I need Oolong tea to ease the pain...

Worked my browns some more tonight. Today I did my browns and forms on the heavy bag. I did some other workouts and some stance work. Strangely, I don't hurt like usual. All-in-all I put in about 3 1/2 hours today. Can't wait to start Shuai Chiao again, though. I miss being slammed into the ground:( .

I gotta agree. Winter owns on the other seasons . . . I just wish summer around here didn't make it so obvious that southern Arkansas is situated so very close to the innermost circle of Hell.
