Tai chi focuses on rooting, Bagua Zhang is more about change with the motion and flow of energy. but Tai chi as a steping pattern(bebbabibop) that is somewhat similar to the circle walking. I think since both have the same ancestory its easy to do the same movements as BaguaZhang wit Tai Chi, but in Bagua Zhang I see alot of Hard skill trainging as while as soft, is this possible with Tai CHi??

Yes, TJQ can and does incorporate hard skill training depending on the style and under whom you study.
I don't see TJQ as a soft MA, but as a MA that can swing from soft to hard, fast to slow and vice-versa effortlessly in order to adapt to the opponent.
Hence the name of "Great Polar Fist".
Cheers.
