Required reading for all democrats and republicans (and Democrats and Republicans.) The thread I initially posted this on got deleted due to some um...enthusiastic debate. But it's impossible to unserstand representative gov't. without understanding the concepts in this essay. So I'm posting it again.

~ I tend to think it is very difficult to make an accurate determination on any part of American politics without a good understanding of the Federalist papers.
~ I also reccomend that people who like to talk about the Constitution actually read it a few times so they know what it says.
~ Same for the Bill of Rights.
~ Same for the Declaration of Independence.
~ I also reccomend for those who think they know what they are talking about the following:
Common Sense by Thomas Paine
The Magna Carta
The Prince by Machiavelli
The Bible
The Anti-Federalist Documents
