Like what was seen in "the quest " and "bloodsport" did such a thing exist where fighters from All Over the World were brought together. Is there proof of this? or is this just hollywood trying to make dollaz

I'm not sure about the "from all of the world" thing.. But I know that challenge fights did occur all too the 80's. And street fighters is not as uncommon as one might think. Pick up the book 'Street fighters: real fighting men tell their stories'

I'm half way through it. I like it alot

There where fighting tournaments in ancient times (like the greek olympics: wrestling & boxing), but they where not international in that sense. The oldest continuing fighting-competition in the world is a yearly Turkish wrestling championship, which have continued since the 1400's.
