Apparently the upstairs went ablaze somehow, (GDA lives in the downstairs apartment). He and his family are fine as far as i know, but i dont think his house is in good condition. I havent been able to reach him since im 2 hours away at this time and cant get him on the phone. Ill keep you posted if anything changes. Send him some positive energy, im sure he needs it right now. I hope he doesnt get mad at me for posting this for some reason. I am just really worried and cant get a hold of anyone about it and need to tell someone or im going to explode.

Good to know he's fine. Although I don't really know him, I think we'd get along in real life. In fact, I think I would take a bullet for him...no really, just not a fatal bullet....like a shoulder bullet or even an ass bullet. Can you imagine? No sitting down? No walking, no laying down?

I've just noticed that people who drink allot tend to have bad luck. Maybe I'm just superstitious.

That really really would suck if mr. gda had no insurance...
I dont have renters insurance cause it didnt cover....
Theft, Vandalism, Acts of god. (flood, earth quake, fire, torando, ect...)
So im not quite sure what it did cover.
So I didnt get it.

All i know so far is from a friend that lives down the street from him who jumped on ICQ to tell me. Since then i havent been able to contact him at any of the places i think he would be. The dude also sent me pics of his house burning away which was kind of strange. i just wish i was there.

I had been watching news coverage of a fire in Benicia (CA), confined to a refinery (polymers and surrounding grass). Lots of smoke, but under control. Then looked in on folks here.

Ok i just talked to him finally. Everyone and all of his possessions are fine. The house isnt really livable as i understand it due to water damage and stuff. So he is just moving to the empty apartment next door. The firemen think it might be arson and are now conducting an investigation. All is well aside from the major inconvienence. Thanks for your support.
