I'm not sure if its true, however I heard digging in the Swiss alps they discovered a well perserved corps of European descent who had The exact meridians tattooed on him. Like I said dont know the exact facts but I think it was said to be from probably 1CE to 100 CE.

I can´t remember the exact dates but I wonder if you´re talking about Ötzi?

We both forgot prana, sanskrit. Very well developed in India.

No, prana is on the list.

FC- just showing that the idea is a lot more common than just in China. Nothing special, and even certain segments of the science community has aspects of reseach or theory that begins to approach areas of Chi theory. Woo woo ism... ha. Knew you'd reject it out of hand...

Hey, no problem man. It was a lengthy and crowded list [you should've seen how difficult to arrange it here!]. Easy to miss. Actually, I should add more! I'll get back to it occassionally, but if you've got more, just add in some links!:)

Yeah.I hear that,"chi research" but I get no reference.
It´s true that the idea is not that original, even early Finnish had their own terms for such, can´t recall those funny names.
You include names like this UFO,hodgy pogdy therapy guy Reich,so as far as that goes, pretty woo-woo.

Reich isn't such a bad guy, really... he had some very good observations.

Scandinavia had one term I know of, not sure the spelling on: Orlog, Urloeg. Its not exactly a match. Ur was the 'power of the Aurochs' or 'bull power, raw energy', Loeg or Log is 'law', the 'way of'. It tended to refer specifically to the power derived from ancestors and spirits.
