ok, I just noticed the 23% RDA of cholesterol in the whey protein supplement I just bought. WTF? So, the 4 servings of this I'm taking a day is putting me right at the limit?

is this ok? I'm sure I'm getting at least close to 100% in my other food intake.

I'll have to check the label once I get home.

I just got some EAS simply protein (chocolate) yesterday and it is really yummy.

my stuff is the GNC Whey Protein. It was the best value at $20/43 servings. then I got the 20% off w/ the gold card
so then it was $16.

80 Servings - $29.85 total with shipping.
Not supporting the evil empire - priceless.

:)

Plus it tastes good.

Edit This same product cost $42.99 at a local GNC.

they didn't have the cholesterol level indicated. I sent them an email.

that's a good sight, they have clif bars for less than a buck a piece. that's a good price and the peanut butter cliff bar is just like a peanut butter drop cookie, but no processed or refined sugar.

dietary cholesterol shouldn't affect your LDL cholesterol that much. So unless you have had history of heart disease you shouldn't worry that much.

I sorta do have family history of heart problems but am not really worried about it.

so, now I need to look up the diff between dietary and LDL.
