My wife just started her own handle on this board, and wants to post. How long does it take to activate?

weird - as soon as i registered i was pretty much good to go? But that was like over a year ago and im sure the membership has increased exponentially since then :)

It depends. The forum is rather quiet on weekends, so I guess that affects the speed too. And if people are constantly spamming the boards with best girl polls :D, the mods are too busy keeping those threads under control and have very little time for new account activations. I think I got my account fixed in like a day or so.

New members are approved every working day. Some take a little longer if they don't fill out their membership application properly. Working day is defined as CA PST time and I usually do it in the morning, first thing while my tea is brewing...:)
