Greetings my friends,

I have seen people doing butterfly kicks. And it is intresting. I wonder how do they practice that. Do you have any tips on how to learn the butterfly kicks?

thanks,

~Guybrush~

Tip #1: Make sure you are practicing on a soft surface.

Tip #2: Make sure you have someone to rush you to the emergency room

Kicking an opponent is but ONE use for this move.

There are several others.

Greetings,

I have try last year. It really hurts my back because I don't know how to spin my body. Crashing onto the grass. What makes them spin and float in the air while launching the butterfly kick?

thanks,

you don't actually spin, it's more of a table top move.
Hint: as you dip down your head, get close to the thigh. As you spring up with the leg the head lifts up too. The first foot is dragged by the momentum of the dip. it's like doing a horizontal aerial cartwheel.

see how the hands are spread? they point in to the direction of the spin and head movement.

Please try to find a qualified instructor to learn this agility skill.

This is a Shaolin kung-fu move, right? I think I remember doing some of these. Probably good for building up coordination & stuff, but I can't see actually using this in actual combat as a real kick...

Don't bother wasting your time on Butterfly kicks. You know you'll never used them in real life, and they throw you off balance.
