Hi All.

Been reading a few interesting posts and threads over the last few weeks and came to the conclussion we need to reanme this forum to represent the members better.

Something like the following came to mind:
"Martial Arts Invalids Online"

Listening to some of the injuries of members here and especially of some of the next generation of MA it makes me shudder.

This place seems to be worse than an old age home when it comes to ailments.
:D

What say ye??

BTW, I also got a buggered knee and back.

Not MA related injuries but Motorbike related ones.

Full contact sparring will almost always eventually lead to some sort of injury.
Shoulder happened from drunken mishap.... :(
Blah.
Still train hard tho.

It seems to me that many people think that this forum is the place to "reveal the truth" about other martial arts. Most of the comments are unsubstantiated comments and any reference back to the people who made the statements are proof that the Internet has given voice to "Anyone/Everyone," with an Internet connection, a voice reguardless of the weight/validity of their opinion. I believe that everone deserve the right to be heard, but citing another website as fact is (in the words of Mr. T., but horribly out of context) ABSOLUDICROUS!

How about:

"The shallow end of the gene pool" (indirect reference to Gene there ;))

"Fung Ku Online - for MAs who can't type/spell"

"KFO - for MAs (Martial Arsewipes) only"

:D :D :D

Actually sometimes I think martial arts mastery is just about learning to cope with scar tissue...

Or form it into a giant attack dog mass.
