What about CNN.com :D

Seriously, the best you will find is somewhere that is accurate and impartial most of the time. BBC news isn't too bad. Some of the Aussie newspapers aren't too bad either - as long as they aren't owned by Rupert Murdoch ;).

Mark Fiore would be called more "humoristic political commentaries". Not as a "News source" per se.
But I like his work.

There's no such thing. Better to read a variety of accounts and sort out one bias from another. Unfortunately, it's kind of inefficient, but it's about the only way to do it.

I get most of my stuff from salon.com, nytimes.com and slate.com btw. They're fairly leftist centrist and centrist, respectively.

funny story... i went in to a mosque with a few muslim friends and the people there were all talking ab out the usual jew/zionist thing. We were like: "uhoh" and then they mentioned Rupert Murdoch as some kind of zionistic jewish news controller etc. Right there i burst out laughing and the people giving the talk asked me why... "coz its a blo0dy SCOTTISH surname u fools" i replied. "how the heck can someone be a zionist if they are called rupert murdoch?".

Then the guys were like "Oh." as their whole argument fell down around them.

and we quickly did our prayers then left :)

RTB: scary link-fu skills!

Naah, I am not a news source.

But I volunteer MP, R5A, Christopher M for 150% accurate and unbiased information that stand the proof of time.

You're only saying that because over and above wrestling, boxing, and BJJ, you do Juko-Kai as your primary art.

heh heh, CSN has ignatz as his avatar :D

try this http://www.cbc.ca

Cnn is ok, but it tends to focus on the american perspective of things as opposed to true objectivity. IMO anyway.

BBC website is good - http://www.bbc.com

and occasionally one or two of the newspaper websites.

If you get the idea in your head that ALL teh internet is unreliable then you throw the baby out with the bathwater. people like to say that or sarcastically imply that ALL information on the internet is untrue...which in itself is untrue.

News is news. Sure, it's coming from a single Journalist, but if that journalist has a modicum of journalist ethics and objectivity, they are gonna report what they see and hear and try to stay away from any subjective opinions on events.

One news source you cannot trust is any, ANY government website from ANY country. Any Military website that is posting news. Rest assured while some of it is true, it is all skewed to fit the agenda of the sitting Government.
