Hello;

Just got in a couple o' books: Hsing I: Chinese Mind Body Boxing ( Robert Smith) and Xing Yi Nei Gong (Dan Miller, Tim Cartmell). Just wondering about other's experiences with these.

I'm looking to learn a tiny bit o' Hsing I, eventually from a teacher [which'll be around December], and I'd like to apply it to my art. To improve, or whatever. It's late. Too late for deep thought.

Cah-Raw-Tee! ;)

i've got the second book.
i think its excellent. i recommend the exercises in it and also the rest, its tough going but thats because its a good 'olive'
i'm too lazy to practise though which is a shame.
best of luck

Yeah, I just got started on the XingYi Nei Gong. Looks awesome. Definetly going to incorporate much of this into my workouts once my ribs are all attached right.

also if u r recopvered form injury - u mention the ribs, the nei gong exercises are supposed to be excellent for recovery too.

I study Isshinryu Karate, an Okinawan external system.

Thanks for the suggestion. After I've read through the book, I'll have to try to start those exercises.
