Are you the Shifu of www.yaukungmun.com.au ? I just got the impression that you where an instructor, and you say you come from this place, so I put 2 and 2 together, and guessed..
Am I wrong? :D
I just wanted to know, because I've been enjoying the Technique workshop of your website. Good work!:)

Ok, thanks FH.
I've really enjoyed the technique-workshop, It has made me really interested in the art of YKM!:) I'm highly interested in the southern short-hand systems.

cheers, mate. (optional when addressing an Aussie, I would guess;))

btw Hawk, do you remember posting This article? (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=1370) Where did you get it from? I'm just curious if there's more nice articles like this from the same source.

edit: I now remember I posted a thread where I asked what YKM was.. and I got the link from there, and never realized FT is in fact Sifu Garry..
Man, I'm slow sumtimes..;)

I'm well.:)

It does'nt matter what you put on.. YKM will be cool whatever tech u show.;)

Maybe some more forms, and some training methods, I'd like to spice my own training up with some southern-style drills. How to condition the hands to do the pheonix-eye fist properly, and such.

I also noticed in the Lam Da videos, that you use a low leg-takedown, similar to what one might see in wrestling/BJJ. Is that an actual YKM application? because that could mean that YKM could flow in very well with ground-grappling styles.

Cheers, mate.

edit:If I ever come to Sydney, I'll stop by.

Yes, gwai ma....or kneeing horse can be used in many ways. As you see the arm takedown, leg take down etc....this is due to the circle/s found in this move. I think ykm has enough ground fighting, locking, throwing skills to get by.

I will try and do something different for the clips next time!

Maybe some more weapons-forms as well. Not that the one already there is'nt good, just some that shows one weapon-form in it's entirety.:)
