Does anyone know of a form or a system called Mor Jeung ?

I believe it means "Demon Palm" or perhaps "Ghost Palm".

I have read an article about Mew Hings system - "Sup Bak Mor Jeung Pai". Is this based on fact ? Or something out of a shaw brothers movie ?

My Sigung was known to practice a Mor Jeung or Sup Bak Mor Jeung and I am wondering what it was.

The Mew Hing system is real, but James Lacy is not it. Look him up via the search method on this site and you will see how con artists can ruin martial arts for all.

Sup Bat Mo Jueng is not a system as he claims. I was taught by friends in the South Mantis styles, that Sup Bat Mo Jeung is an advanced form from Ip Sui Jung Shee's Chow Gar Tong Long Pai.

Thanks for the reply Dale,
That was exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Also I figured the James Lacy scenario was the sequel to "Master Killer".

The form Sup Bak Mor Jeung, is it a soft, slow and flowing set, similar to Tai Chi with all palms, pokes, chops and slaps ?

I have a farm as I described which I cannot trace. We call it Big Buddhapalm (Dai Fut Jeung), but it could be another name for Mor Jeung....I am just guessing, stabbing in the dark. If Sup Bak Mor Jeung sounds as I described, then I would love to know. Starts with a left hook hand in front of chest then right palm to front......

There is also a style called Fujian Wing Chun that has Fut Chang Buddha Palm , and I think you can find it in Hung Gar and i know Southern Mantis has Fut Chang Buddhist Palm ,

Is this related to Bak Mo White hair?

Thanks for the links FireHawk.

Jaza, I dont think Sup Bak Mor Jeung is related to Bak Mo, of Bak Mo Ji (White Hair Devil - the Hung Fut forefather). It could be related, but the words are a different meaning:

Sup Bak/Eighteen Mor/Demon Jeung/Palm
Bak/White Mo/Hair

Do you mean:

Sub Baat um gen sau / 18 internal dark hands/power

Found within the Chow gar tong long system. It's a Chi gung form done soft or hard or both.

hope that helps

I was looking through Master Chow Fook's Book ON Lung Ying Mor Kiu, and as Master Fook trained under CLC of Bak Mei Pai, he listed all the forms of that style as well.

Master Fook listed a form called Sup Bat Mor Kiu as an advanced Bak Mei set.

This book was co-authored by C.S. Tang. In Cantonese, but a cool reference book on both styles.

Thanks Dale,
Do you, or anyone else know how Sup Bak Mor Kui looks like ?

Is it explosive ging, straight lines, circular, mixed, soft ?

Sup Baat Mo / kuil is a short form and is explosive although i dont class it as high level. I teach it as it was taught as our number 13 form but its fairly easy form to learn once understanding the bak mei principles. It has circles and linear attacks with bridging, trapping, locking, kicks, and uses both under and over bridge hands.

I have seen a 18 devils claw 108 moves as well.

Thanks for the information on the set. Like I said, it was listed in Sifu Chow Fooks curriculum as an advanced set. I have never been privy to see it performed as of yet.
