Anyone seen any of these teachers? Is there one video that you'd recomend over the other? I'm just looking for a cheap survey video on any praying mantis style to watch, so if anyone has any other recomendations, let me know. Thanks :)

Not sure what a 'cheap survey' is ?

I would recommend this site...

Good videos, in English if that matters and great material.

A cheap survey video is one that shows an overview/demonstration of the forms rather than being instructional, and is cheap(under $20 for me :D )

The VCD's you are investigating are not representative of Qixing Tanglang as it exists on the mainland. The energy is not like Tanglang I have seen elsewhere; I believe that he has had other influences other than traditional Tanglang, (and for those wondering, no it is not modern Wushu either). The Bungbu VCD is fairly accurate technique-wise for mainland Tanglang.

The Meihua tapes are by a recognized master from Beijing, I believe, but he "dumbs down" his technique on his applications VCD. A case of not wanting to show it in this medium.

Your search for "cheap" and accurate Gongfu is a difficult one. If you find it, please let us know too! (I like a bargan as much as anyone).
