Yang 24 with applications.

On Saturday I by accident got to the kwoon a bit earlier than normal.

Now the class before ours is a Yang 24 class given by one of our assistant Chen Instructors.

Interesting was watching him teach them the application for "Yun Shou" and similar moves, very similar to the way he teaches us Chen TJQ.

Watching them perform Yang 24 it makes me realise how much difference a teacher makes that knows the applications and similar.

It looked less like the standard Taiji dance associated with the Yang 24 and more like a MA.

it is NOT the routine...although there ARE bad routines.

The routine is simply a vehicle for everything you can express. Very much like what Michelangelo said about his sculptures. He "SAW" the sculpture in the stone and simply worked to reveal it.
