I'd love to say that it gives you more qi, but in truth, it's just green tea. Nevertheless there are health benefits to green tea, or so I'm told. Shaolin Tea (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/70600.html) is now available through www.MartialArtsMart.com. Enjoy.

How can we know if it's authentic Shaolin?

I prefer to buy my green tea from the local tea-grocer, if u don't mind..
Less expensive for a little cuppa tea.

It has the official stamp of approval. I'm totally serious.

I agree it's a bit pricey for tea, but it is from Shaolin I guarantee that. I brought it back myself. Think of what a great gift it would make for your Shaolin friends. ;)

I like best the "Formosa green tea". It's very good.
I recommend it.

Gene,

I'm told different teas are good for different ailments. Does the Shaolin brand make any claim to anything other than a cool name?

I thought Shaolin tea *is* good stuff by the way. I too have some right now...

Kristopher, that tea that tastes like plastic or rubber bands is called Lapsang Souchong. You can get it here.

JG: No claims, except it might help keep you awake during long periods of meditation.

CZ: Whaddya mean a gotta do a commercial? Whaddya think I'm doing? ;) Actually, I'm hoping to make enough by selling tea to pay for my next trip back to Shaolin.

SD: You know, these empty tea containers make the best little stash boxes. Or at least, that's what I'd imagine... ;)
