Try "The Isshinryu System." It's at www.isshinryu.com
Seems to have the most widely accepted versions of kata.

At all costs, avoid the book "Okinawa's Complete Fighting System" by Michael Rosenbaum. Utter rubbish. At least on Isshinryu. Everything else presented is interesting.

Hope that helps.

Just check out Amazon, read the reviews, glance in some books. The second one listed I own, got it half off at a bookstore and it is pretty cool.

Some guesses:
Silat (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000063K5D/qid=1060444191/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/002-1752155-2837610)
Muay Thai (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1581603207/qid=1060444335/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-1752155-2837610?v=glance&s=books)

And a book called "the weapons & figthing arts of Indonesia" by John Draeger. I have that book, and it's excellent, both in history of the styles, & pictures.

Hey Sd, get with me on the books you're looking for. I'm a collector and a bookseller part time. I have just about everything you could possibly imagine.

I mainly deal with rare and out-of-print martial arts books, but I have a lot of the newer titles as well.
