OK, I've read many websites, many books, etc. and I usually get several different answers.

What are the MAJOR Shaolin basic empty-hand forms? Cannon Fist? Lohan Fist? Arhat Fist?

If we're talking about Songshan Shaolin, it depends what lineage you are at Songshan. MK's list is probably the most common, mainly due to a video series that was release a few years back. But there are other lineages within the Songshan Shaolin community that emphasis different curriculams. The reason you are having a difficult time getting a straight answer here is because Shaolin is so massive that your question doesn't really work. It's like asking what are the major songs in rock & roll.

Thanks for the answers to my questions, everyone. It cleared up a lot (or did it?). I was just curious, since I am a Southern stylist now (Hung Gar).

Speaking of Pao chuan.... I'll be learning a set that my shirfu knows... he doesn't remember which pao chuan it is, he just says.. somesorta Shaolin.

What styles have a Pao chuan form... I know that Songshan Shaolin teaches a pao chuan form, who else has one in there curriculmn?

We have San Lu (third routine) Pao Chuan. It is in our standard curriculum from grand teacher Han Ching-Tang Long Fist family.
It is one of the four famous northern shaolin forms, Cha, Hua, hung, pao.
