I was looking at some of the foam gear you offer over on Martial Arts Mart and noticed you have some gear in the blowout section with The Chop (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/c10510.html) and even elbow pads, which aren't in the normal section (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/105sparchop.html). I remember Gene mentioning something about how they are new models. How exactly do new models rate to old models? I'm looking for some elbow pads and didn't see any in foam, but saw some in the blowout section. Any particular reason why you don't have new foam pads for elbows?

Those elbow pads didn't sell very well, at least not up to the standards of our other products, so they were discontinued. There's not much call for elbow pads since most styles forbid elbows in sparring. At this time, I do not know if we plan to create a new line for elbows.

Yeah, I don't use elbows either for sparring, but I still need some in case I actidentally hit someone, so I need to gather some money (my birthday party is this weekend) and buy some stuff from your store.

I have elbow pads (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/10040.html) already, but they aren't anything great looking. What I wanted were a pair like those you discontinued, where just the elbow part is getting the covering.

I'll ask if we plan to make more. Let me get back to you on this, since it's not my department and I'll have to ask a several people until I get an answer worth sharing.

Geez, sounds like my government job....:D

Well, no, not govt., but we have many different branches here spanning three continents (USA, China, Korea) and five different languages (English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Spanish.) Sometimes things get confusing, especially since that division is not my department.

Apperently geography and related vocab isn't either...:D
I'm just teasin'....
On another note, I finally got to make a decision at work today without having to notify ten people.

In case you were wondering it was a boca burger....lol

You mean Spanish? Well, our main office is based in California...

So I found out about the foam elbow pads (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/c10770.html). Apparently they never sold at all, so we disconitnued the line and have no intentions of revitalizing them. We also have a large back stock of the close outs, so if you really want one, get one there. In the future, the only elbow pads we plan to carry are the cloth elbow pads (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/10040.html), which sell fine.

Well, I sent in a money order yesterday for a bunch of stuff, I bought around $66 of merchandise, alot from the bargin basement stuff. The only thing I got at full price was Pro-Max Head Guard (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/102promax.html). I also bought 5 pairs of elbow pads.

Glad you did well with our blow out sale items (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/starspangled.html). It's always worth a look - new stuff at cost - never know what we are clearing out.:D

Yeah, there are a few things I do want to purchase, but didn't have the funds to buy at the present moment, so I thought I'd buy just what I needed. Suddenly I got what I wanted and had an ok amount of stuff purchased.

A few of the items I purchased in the bargain basement, chances are I will never use to how they were intended. Such as the Tae Kwon Do uniform, I will use it to train in, but not in Tae Kwon Do. I already have a Kung Fu uniform, a nice black one with red frogs that I use if I want to train in a uniform, so I didn't get a new uniform.

Plus it's fast to spend alot of money there. If I didn't have to spend so much for my college books, chances are I'd of spent close to $250+ there.

My business teacher and my mom would both freak if they saw what you wrote on the subject there :p

To be honest, what I want is the gear, what I need are the books. With college done, then I get more money, then I can buy more gear. So if I wait, then I can get what I really want.*

*A date with Margie :D :D

I felt bad about posting that comment later. Just got caught up the www.MartialArtsMart.com sales fervor. Definately spend money on your school books first.

But remember, everytime you order, you can call Margie... ask for her by name 1-800-824-2433 ;)

Yeah, and instead of buying food and such with whatever you have left over... buy more gear from Gene and company.:D

Oh I do, Gene, I do ask for her. :D

In fact when I ordered the stuff last week, I asked for her.
