Hip extension
This is either a machine exercise like one of the standing hip machines or a standard lunge.
Lunges
Step one leg forward to a bent knee at 90 degrees, leave the other leg stretched straight behind, strecthing the front of the hip. You can do it holding weights to increase the load. Works the hammies and hips mostly.
Dumbell Flat Bench
Bench press with dumbells, no incline.
Dumbell Pullover
A sweater made of weights? Not sure, maybe they mean a triceps extension from behind the head?
Barbell/Dumbell Rows
Stand up straight and have the weights hanging at arms length. Pull the weights up to your collar area, elboews out to the side, weights stay close and lower again.
Barbell Pullover
See above?
Standing Dumbell Press
Stand up and push the dumbells directly up from the shoulders to work the shoulders. Sometimes called a military press.
Dumbell Sideraise
Hold the bells by the sides and raise your arms out till they are straight and paralell to the ground and lower again.
Reverse Curl
Like a bicep curl but with a pronated grip (palms face down). Worls the brachialis.
French Curl
Dunno. Maybe another name for a hammer curl, with a neutral grip (like holding the bars of your cage).
Press Down
Cable exercise to work the tripceps.
Does that help any?

Yeah, thanks for the help. Too bad I need to get more equipment to do those though.

You can do almost all of them with dumbells alone.

While we're at it, what's a 'dip' as on Scrapper's site?
He doesn't explain, and I've looked elsewhere but so far come up with

Father Dog, those are good links that you posted.
But, one of the exercises you linked to is a "French Press" (the dumbell behind your head thing). I have no idea what a French Curl is.

Oh, really? Huh. I thought that was a French Curl, for some reason... color me puzzled, then.

afaik, a curl is an exercise in which the joint is bent, and a press is when it is straightened. hence the term "curl." :p

Like I mentioned further up, I htink a French Curl is another name for a Hammer Curl. Anyone able to confirm or deny this?

Cheers Dawg, but Scrapper says the dip can be performed off a chair or the end of your bed... so is that the same?! My legs aren't that short...! What do I do with them?!
And what's a lunge?
Sorry for the dumb qs.

I usually do dips between two chairs, one hand on each chair. Bend your legs at the knees to keep 'em from hitting the ground. If your legs are still too long, get taller chairs.
And what's a lunge?

[/B] Demn you yankees and your logic! Don't actually have chairs that tall... I'll have to use passing Japanese people.
Cheers again.
