You're talking bout the booklet with the red cover? I once saw it available for sale on the shelf at Silky Way. It was on the set of bookshelves when you get to the top of the stairs. Stop by Silky Way and look around. They might still have it.

The Red Book is not the WL Handbook. What are you trying to find out? Just ask, there are plenty here who are familiar with the contents of the handbook.

I thought 18-Elders was going to hook you up, could be wrong.

Yea, the Red Book is totally differant. I`ve got to dig mine out, this book was a topic of discussion between some ole WL brothers recently.

The WL handbook is not that great a deal, but it serves it`s purpose for the student of WL.

I agree with SaM, if your that interested, just come in and join.

Oh, that white handbook with like 15 pages or so in it. I used to have 2. I'll see if I can find them. I'll give mine away if I find them. But they might be outdated cause it was 9 years ago when I got them.

All this talk about the handbook I dug mine out from 1984 which has Lee Koon Hung, Mok Poi On, Master Chan, and Shek Kin in a group picture on the back cover.

Check it out:

Maybe I can put it on Ebay and rake in the dough. Ha ha.

Woliveri

Thanks for the `84 photo, see some familiar faces. Do you know what was being taught that weekend? Some big time KF Masters, all under one tent! Your handbook just might be an item!

That's version 1 of the manual. That's the one I got when I started. There were some translation/printing errors which is why there is a page of corrections stapled to the first page. There have been 2 modified versions since then. I understand the original was just copies of a handwritten manual. I wish I had one of those to make my collection complete (yeah, I collect stuff).

Yu Shan,

Mok Poi On taught a butterfly sword form.
Lee Kung Hung taught a stick form (can't remember the name but it was nice)

Shek kin, I don't remember him teaching anything other than we all gathered around in the temple and he gave some stories.

We also saw him in Hong Kong the next year when we went to China. We came to his house and met his wife.

Does anybody here have some more old wah lum pictures, showing master Chan or some others sifus?
I'd love to see how things used to be in the past.... :)

Thanks in advance!

Great photo Woliveri, P. Chan sporting a pretty good bicep shot! The man could throw around a Kwan Do with ease.

Is that Mikyo-san holding the flag?

Looks like Miky to me. Poor guy had the personality of a rock.

I have a question about the WL handbook. Has anyone seen levels Five and down? I oftened wondered why WL has so many hand forms?

Yes, that's Mic-kie. Never could know how to spell his name.

Is it really Mikyo-san?

Mikey or Mickey Mouse, who cares! Can someone give us some details on this handbook? Probably not, and that`s ok.

Woli, I think it's Mikyo ("san" is something like "mr." in Japanese), but I'm not that sure. :)
Anyway, he's a great guy...

Yeah, I have no problem with Mickie. He may have changed since he had some kind of artery problem in his brain. Can't remember but he pulled through.

He was freakin strong as I remember.
