View Full Version : Where to buy (rent) UFC videos?

Blockbuster doesn't carry them. The library doesn't carry them. WalMart doesn't carry them. Where can you buy them besides online?

That must vary from city to city...here, I can get them in the video store.

I get them at Hollywood Video.

You can usually buy them at Suncoast Video.

And they're generally stored under "Special Interest" or some other spectacularly unhelpful heading at Blockbuster.

Aside from that, perhaps you could join Netflix?

BlockBuster is 'family oriented,' so they don't rent questionable material, such as UFC or NC-17 movies.

Just try another chain.

The best place to get the videos is definitely online. There is an informercial on SpikeTV, Comedy Central and some other networks and Zuffa setup a combo deal to promote. http://www.ufcdvds.tv

BlockBuster is 'family oriented,' so they don't rent questionable material, such as UFC or NC-17 movies.

1. The company that had the rights to publish UFC videos (Trimark I think) was a year or two behind on video releases when Zuffa bought the UFC a couple years ago

2. Zuffa bought the rights back to publish UFC videos and now Trimark doesn't distribute them, so they aren't distributed very well

Look in the Special Interests section and you will find that many Blockbusters still have some of the original videos. A couple years ago my hometown blockbuster had 6 or 7 UFCs. Some have the new ones released by Zuffa but not many.

Kazaa or any other P2P program can get you just about whatever you're looking for.

The Hollywood video here has a nice selection: UFC, UA, RFC, etc.

Er, I've rented UFC tapes from Blockbuster on numerous occassions.

I'm going to have to check out Hollywood Video :) haven't looked for MMA videos there for like 2 years
