I sincerely believe that "nervous breakdown" is a term under some abuse.

Take a look at this and consider for yourselves;

I have also heard that killing cattle helps,from you that is. :D
But I would never even consider that.

Maybe you should concentrate on getting some counseling. That'd be more important than anything else at the moment.

Thanks but I used to be a psyche majior, I know what they'd say. I'm better now, I just needed a good couple of days to go crazy. Spirituality is what I beleive emotional problems come from, I wasn't staying in the here and now so my problems became magnified. Got the focus back.

Then I think you might have been misusing the term "nervous breakdown" a little. A loved one of mine had a nervous breakdown. Lost feeling in her arms and then blacked out. Woke up in the hospital.

What do you mean that emotional problems come from spirituality?

When My spiritual beleifs conflict with my actions and attitudes=emotional problems.
I wasn't focusing on truths, positives, or acceptence. I counscouly know these things but if I don't spiritually practice them I suffer.

I understand completely. I'm very new to the study of psychology. But I think they call this phenomenon "cognitive dissonance" where a spiritualist might talk about not "being one" with the world, not moving in accordance with the Dao, being outside of God's grace, or not following the sacred duties (dharma) attributed to your role. Depends on the specific faith, I suppose. But the central idea is the same. You have an inner life and an outer life. And when they don't match up, you get distressed.

Hats off to you for recognizing that. I hope you get things worked out. (Hell, I hope we all get things like that worked out.)

Cheers.

To me all life and interactions are spiritual, regaurdless of beleif or discipline. A persons spirituallity is their essence or nature, how they live and interact with the world. Psychology is okay, but I beleive they rely to much on whats not important. Religions or spiritual disciplines originally have a common theme, satisfaction from how we live, now many religions have gotten away from this (via politics or indoctrination). To me the thought process isn't that important, nor the emotions. To me its am I going toward my potential as a good being, or the opposite. My essence wants to be good, but I fall short due to greed, jeolousy, desire, ect. It's just getting back on track, back in the here and now. Hey man, thanks for your concern!! I really do appreciate it.:)
