Just a short note,A question about different lineages.

Most modern masters,Draw there lineages from Yip man, how about those others who do not? (Example Red boat Wingchun, or Wingchunhut?...) are there other people out there who can draw their lineages outside of Yip Man???
Curious minds want to know. ;-)

Hi Curtis, Yip Man is famous because he taught in HK and his students got notoriety. There were other WC masters living in China under the communists that didn't get the same exposure.
There is a book entitled, "Complete Wing Chun" , by Robert Chu and Rene Ritchie. It lists some of the other lineages.
BTW, I'm in Madison Heights, probably not too far from you.

It seems like I misinterpreted your post. There are quite a few people here that have studied other lineages. Myself included.
