Back to Teaching . . . Pretty Much

Well, I talked to sensei today. Gonna be back to helping teach the kids classes thursday. Jus' gonna be giving assistance on discipline, basics, and kata. Easy, easy stuff. No running, taking hits, yelling too loud.

Well, I didn't come out any worse for wear, so I think that means I'm ahead.

The kids behaved, for the most part. On the yunguns, we played some games, did some kata (Basic Kata No.1, as developed by sensei for total class inclusion.)They did good. 'Cept this one kid. . . dude mosta outweighed me by 40lbs. And he's a foot or so shorter. Had a thick neck, too.

Oh, yeah. One of the kids I've worked out with twice since he's been going ran up to me when he saw me in my gi and hugged me. Couldn't even remember the kids name right. Called him his brother's name.

Anyway.

Older kids was awesome. Got to work on their kata (Basic Kata again.) Don't know if they enjoyed it all that much, as I am a perfectionist when learning, and make them pay attention to every God-forsaken detail that kids don't like to pay attention to.

Or something.

Gotta paper to write and a bath to take. Maybe eat some more, too.
