View Full Version : Matt Thornton held a seminar at my gym.. and I didnt know!!

So here goes: I show up at my gym, starts undressin, gettin my gear ready.. and then I spot this big, tall mutha in the corner, and I think "hey, whos dat big muth... HEY its Matt Thornton!"
and then I found out that Matt held this seminar at my gym, and that it cost about 400 kr. but I didnt have the money for it, so i just had to sit and watch, without participating. which was cool nuff, i still learned a lot from it, but.. u know.

so that was my story.:p

(they were bltches for not letting me know of that. it was one big opportunity for me:mad: )

well, the seminar basically covered: passing the guard, defending against punches while being in the guard, and variations over that theme. some work on the triangle choke as well. then he showed on a blackboard some basic concepts in his style of grappling.

SD: I will, when I catch him not wearing a cup:p

sidenote: one of the seminar attenders, a danish Judoka, got to spar (grapple freestyle) with matts 2 assistents, scary peebs, and he actually submitted both of them:D go DK!;)

haha, we dun use a >¨< in Danish, that is wrong.;)

ok on wit the topic.
Matt is one big mutha, hes over 7 ft tall, and is build like a gorilla. his torso is longer than his legs, which are very small to his size. and his arms go all the way down to the knees.

summary: he looks f*cked up.
