if u put a gun in your car in the summertime, can it get too hot it will discharge on it's own?

AFAIK, she is most renowned for her Tai Chi.

Of course her Kids are also fairly well known:
Daughter Chi Ching Yen, Son Donnie Yen

I am almost positive that she teaches contemporary wushu, and I think some of her students have won championships in that style.

OK SD, I'll take a stab at it ... er, shot ... whatever.

I've never heard of this happening -- but in the Army we were discouraged from leaving a weapon in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

Maybe because it would warp the plastic handguards ... I dunno. The M16 operates in hot & sunny climates too so a "cookoff" like you describe is unlikely. But possible.

Put it in your glove box with the barrel facing away from you (& passengers) and safe it. And keep your permits with it -- being without them in MA is far more worrisome than what hot weather may do to the weapon.
