Friday Oct. 17th 7-9pm, Lecture, $8

· How to balance your emotions and health through herbal food?
· How to adapt to changes in your body, climate changes, hormonal changes, life style changes, and environment changes, etc?
· Find YOUR optimal way through herbal food.
· Like licorice in herbal formulas, green onion functions in herbal food cooking as the important harmonizer. The complex theories of Yin-Yang and Five-Elements are explained simply through our favorite subject—food.


Saturday Oct. 18th, 3-5pm, Guided Tour, $10

A show and tell of herbal food and variety of vegetables unfamiliar to most westerners, and simple ways to incorporate them into our daily meals.


Saturday Oct. 18th, 6-9pm, Cooking Demonstration, $20

Hands-on demonstration of practical and simple ways to combine, cook and eat herbal food. Tasting follows.

Please register early as our previous events have been completely full.

Yanling Lee Johnson, M.A., author, scholar and teacher, is the Vice President of the Qigong Association of America (www.qi.org). She has taught qigong in colleges and universities, and lectures at international conventions in the U.S. and Europe. Her books Qigong for Living, A Woman’s Qigong Guide, Qi—The Treasure and Power of Your Body are read world-wide. She is also the author of Qi—Energy in Foods for Living (Twelve Volumes), now available are Volume I: Vegetables, and Volume II: Fruits & Nuts. Her newest book, Qigong for Woman II will be available in 2004.
