Just had a question maybe you guys can shed some light on..

Last night at class i noticed my Sifu wearing a gold colored sash instead of the usual black with gold stripes. I didn't have time to ask him why, maybe some can here can shed some light on it for me? is it a different rank or degree?

Young padawan, he probably has gone off the black, dark broody look, and is now prefering the golden yellow as it brings out the colour in the eyes, and allows more vibrant eye liner and lip gloss to be used so it does not clash with the intense red of Gi badges.

Besides Yellow is the new black everyone knows that!!!

What is "Atado" kung fu. Never heard of this style.

this is from the website

"Atado Kung Fu was created by Master Jon Lee (one of Chee Soo's original students) he took Shaolin tiger style kung fu and blended it with all the traditional movements from his style which was Lee Style Feng Shou (Hand of the Wind Kung Fu)."

the "Atado" part was the name of one of the traditional Shaolin Forms.

hopefully that kinda says what the styles about, if you want somemore info I can post more when I get home.

It is likely style-spacific. Our Sifu don't ever wear black sashes; they wear white. Black is only for "lowers".

Not yet but now they know that it exists it will be incorporated in the system, and then claim that it always was part of SD:D

ok now, i wasn't trying to be mean, i was just saying that it's probably in their system if they just look for it. Like hidden kung fu you know?
