to much dance.... they could have explored the body mechanics of ACTUAL fighting... free sparring... whatever... focus on the physics of the application rather than a 2-man set.... i would still watch it if i had cable....

it doesn't have to cover san shou for me to enjoy it more.... but it could have dealt with Judo's kazushi... the bio-mechanics of joint locks in Chin-na or ju jitsu.... how Aikido REALLY works... sword forms are cool to look at and all... but the actual function of martial arts would make a cooler show... rather than wushu performed by a karate guy....

I saw a commercial for it on Discovery. They said something about taking Tae Kwon Do's most "respected" people and using CGM to show how bones break and such...

The general public doesn't care how a techniques works. If they talked about judo's kazushi, ratings would be very low...

if you're in a fight underwater or if you fall into a wormhole and are teleported to a dimension wehre everything is done at 1/4 speed... those techniques will save your life!

You have to remember, you are a ma talking about ma.... ma aren't a HUGE demographic to target on an international channel...

Oh, and just because taiji is done slow, doesn't mean we don't do aps, etc.

well im going to tell you.

almost every god ****ed show is just some stupid guy justifying his completely ludicrous theory. like about tai chi players being able to fight or something. half way through the show he's got you half convinced and then they bring in this other dude who completely destroys what the first guy said. they go back and forth a couple times and the shows over and i didn't learn a god ****ed thing.
