new personal record: 1 x 12 each leg

I hadn't practiced these in many weeks. My previous best was 9 reps. was able to progress by practicing Kettlebell Jerk, front squat and overhead squat.

My balance is far from perfect. I find that they don't agree with my hip and knee on one side - but they are a great exercise, feels like someone kicked me in the legs today.

Those things are great. 12 eh? Not bad at all. Im only at like 6 or 7 right now. I have a woefully insufficient lower body... :(

Actually 6 or 7 is pretty good. The best thing about them is that they are an "anywhere, anytime" exercise

The guy who wrote and appears in the article...as a young-ish Kung Fu student, did 80 pistols on each leg

Now he can do 3-5 reps holding 140 lbs. worth of Kettlebells...
