Hey Coach Ross,

Just saw this on the Underground:

Is it another one of those situations where they recruit non-San Shou guys to rep the US in a San Shou competition?

I admit I don't know much about the Combat-Do school; but should they be the ones trying to field fighters that will likely rep the US?

Not trying to start any problems or anything, am just curious.

Offering a chance for an expenses paid trip to China is a nice way to advertise their San Shou BootCamp.


Reserved my hotel room today, so I'm goin to Jersey.
I hereby leave my Hulk Hands to MusicalKataChamp; my silk kung fu uniforms to MP & ShaolinTiger; my pron collection to be divied up between the married forum members; my kung fu weapons to Ap; and my DMX cd collection to Suntzu. :D

:mad: ..... shiiiiiiiiit.... give me the pron...... whatever that is :D.... it COULD be a cool road trip considering if the guy is really who they say he is......... free trip to china against "A" chinese fighters :eek: :confused: i'll wait to see what those that know have to say....... spit on DMX...

Don't worry, you only get the good cds of my collection that you don't already have (like that system version of "shame on a n****").

ShifuBinks gets the rest of my cds so he can get some rhythm. :p Just messin.

If I have any leave left I'll look into that San Shou Boot Camp, I dunno. China would be fun even if I was gettin my a$$ beat on tv.

i saw the site...... Combat-do :confused: ..... Ooookay.... why would this dude come to just any old strip mall to an 'unproven' team?.... i don't know much about illinois other than a small part of Chicago.... hot chicks out there?.... if this guy is really alladat.... a small group learning setting is not all that bad an idea.... if he's not who they advertise we can burn the school down as a warm up to the Texas thing we spoke about ;) :D .... i was being sarcastic.... lol at his lack of rhythm...

Combat -do guys are comming from sanshou in a differnt direction than many of us came to it. They are comming from the MMA and judo scene, and realizing that san shou is an amazing format to test their skills.

they're not big on the san shou scene now but I think we'll see a good team ifrom them in the future.
