I was just wondering if there is anybody from Vancouver on this Forum? Or am I the only one?

Hi yylee,

No, I am not Eric Li's student. I am actually a student of one of his students. (does that make sense?) He has come to our class and taught a few times. (that's who told me about the thumb tension thingy -- see other SLT thread). Although, I have meet some of his students and their students at a get together..

How about yourself, yylee?

Yylee,

Well, we used to be at fitness world. Not anymore though. Small world!

I know that there is really good Wing Chun taught on Beatrice St.
Very closed door, very traditional, in somebody's garage.

KG, are you canadian? Seriously why do you imitate so closely ETW's style if not his content? Do you like to be on top of the WC mountain that much? Ha! ha!

Regards,

PH

Do you consider yourself an intelligent man?

Why do you ask such question? Seriously, I had an encounter of the tic tac toe kind with ETW and kind of tired of playing the old game again. Ha! Ha!

My girlfriend lives in Ontario but she's from Vancouver. I'm from the States but we plan on visting Vancouver next summer. I would really like to meet some WC people while I'm there. Is there lots of WC there?

Phil

just off the top of my head, these are the WC schools in Van:

Wang Kiu->Dr Khoe, AMS Wing Chun
TST->Leo Lit, Ving Tsun MA studio
Ip Ching->Eric Li
Jiu Wan->Fred Kwok
WT-> Ralph

Also two places that teach YKS/SN Wing Chun, one in China Town, another in Richmond (I think).

There used to be some WSL and Moy Yat schools here too, perhaps they are teaching privately these days.

TWC schools in Kelowna and Victoria, BC.

Ray is now in Victoria, on Vancouver Island, a ferry ride and drive away from Vancouver, B.C.
