now, when you do your kungfu rhythimically, say this instead of using any other ways of saying numbers.

It's more authentic that way :D

Dear Mr. Kung Lek:

Your effort at illuminating the enumeration is applauded. Most, however, at Shao-Lin and Dengfeng would likely pronounce the numbers as follows:

1 yi
2 er
3 san
4 si
5 wu
6 liu
7 qi
8 ba
9 jiu
10 shi

It's more authentic that way. :D

isn't more authentic if you count in cantonese for southern styles and mandarine for northern styles ??

Not all southern styles are Cantonese. In fact many of them are Fukkien :)
