Hello,

I've noticed that there are many tai chi teachers who have studied with master Chu King Hung in the UK. Is master Chu King Hung still actively teaching? and if so, where?

Cheers,

I think he still lives in the UK but his teaching is mostly in Germany and France. AFAIK he has no school as such here now.

He was teaching privately though - if you don't mind spending a couple of hundred quid for an hour

I may be wrong but I believe he's a Yang styler. My teacher trained with him in the late 70's.

He was the 3rd disicple to Yang Sau Cheung, eldest son of Yang Cheng Fu. Most of the UK Yang style oldsters will have trained with him at some point. Erle trained with him for 3 or 4 years in the late 70's and was taken by Chu to meet YSC.

Interestingly, there was another guy taken by Cuh to YSC. Apparently YSC was a heavy smoker, the room was full of cig smoke. The guy afterwards said "wow, imagine YSC, a tai chi master smoking so much". Chu replied "Master Yang does not smoke!"
