Actor Jonathan Brandis (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000970/) died at 27. Most people here will remember him from being in that God awful movie Sidekicks (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0105402/) with the ever popular Chuck Norris (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0001569/).
For those of you who haven't seen it, it is just a rip off of The Karate Kid meets a boy who has asthma and is a [paranoid schitzophrenic] with delusions of being best friends with Chuck Norris in different action movies. He then trains with the wizard Nakano from Highlander 3, and then meets Chuck Norris at a karate tournament who then decides to be his team mate for the tag team match or something. Basically it was a rip off of The Karate Kid.
