Head of TKD Association arrested

South K president of Tae Kwon Do Association was arrested for rigging the election. This line caught my eye:

"Prosecutors have indicted Koo Chun-seo, accusing him of using 300 "gangsters and taekwondo experts" to stop rivals attending the vote."source (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/3293927.stm)

which prompts me to ask: Anyone know what the Korean word for 'mobster'?

In japanese it's yakuza, cantonese it's gu wak chai.
