same as header

For those unfamiliar with kugel, it's like a cross between a casserole and a cardiac infarktion.

flan rules. It has even been featured on the cartoon "courage, the cowardly dog"

lemme guess, you had kids mainly as an excuse to keep watching cartoons ????

;)

Pecan Pie would choke kugel and flan out in a 2on1 deathmatch.

Pecan pie has external softness but internal hardness, a potent combination.

However, Kugel's internal softness and external crispiness is even more effective.

hmmm, my pecan pie has a hard external and a soft internal.

I feel I must test your kugel style, maybe several, just to be sure of my pecan pies superiority.

This looks pretty close to my family's traditional kugel-fu, although we don't add raisins.

this got me...probably the entire dish, not serving...good for fueling the buddha belly:)

Yeah, I giggled when I saw that. Kugel's pretty deadly, but I don't think it has 6 gees of calories and nearly a pound of fat in one serving.

yeah, I did, but if the cartoon involves ma or flan, I watch it. There was an episode of The Proud Family where a sifu had a mcKwoon and was giving out black sashes after one day of training.

Flan is popular here. The genuine version has lots and lots of eggs and sugar. Delightful to taste, deadly in the long run. It' not something to be taken lightly.

The commercial versions available in most eateries are a bit less on the fat because they've got so many extenders added in. However, the sugar remains the same or even more. Thus, it might be less (though not by much) of a risk to your heart, but it's still deadly on the teeth. :D

Your kugel-fu is no match for my kegel-fu.

Frankly, the thought of anyone nicknamed "father" doing kegels is so alarming I really don't feel like disputing your claim.
