So...what's the deal with these guys? They claim that their Grandmaster is a guy named Leung Fu (or Leung Lee Fu), a Chinese master from Malaysia. Strangely enough, he doesn't look Chinese...or Malaysian...or even Oriental. In fact, I've been told that he is really Hispanic and his real name is Rio Rodriguez. I have heard that he trained for a little while in Malaysia with 2 brothers named Leung Fu and Leong Lee Fu and then took their names and combined them for his own when he left. Also that he then spent 2 years in Hong Kong studying 5 or 6 different arts off and on before creating his Bak Shaolin Eagle Claw style. I don't know how true any of this is (or how true "Leung Fu's" claims are) but it would at least answer the question of "Fu's" VERY non-oriental appearance. Any further info?
