Wing Chun? Put a brutally straightforward combat intensive art into the sport arena? They better not, it certainly would'nt be wing chun anymore....

Kung Fu sparring as a sport just doesn't seem smart.

i pray that they don't add any more MA to the olympics. look at what happend to TKD.

actually once any MA is popularized it seems that the quality of the practionares goes down. maybe its just me, but i find the pattern disturbing.

I think when a martial art is popularized there's a small increase in the number of skilled practitioners but a very large increase in copy cat instructors just interested in money. I see a lot of that right now in both traditional & modern wushu.
