If you absolutely had to choose between these two choices, what would it be and why?

1. Meet fewer times per week, but longer training each time you do meet.

or

2. Meet more times per week, but each session is shorter.

For example: Either meet twice a week for 2-3 hours per class, or five times a week for 1-1.5 hours per class?

Defining shorter maybe the deciding factore
If I had a choice of lets say
3 x week at 2-3 hours per class or
6 x week at 1 hour/class,

I would choose the latter.

I would choose longer times and fewer times a week.

Depends on what I'm working on at the time really.

I like shorter more often. It's easier to absorb things in shorter chunks, mentally at least.

Shorter, but more times per week. I find it easier to learn when I'm not dead tired. I don't go to the kwoon for a workout, I go to absorb as much as I can. The practicing I do on my own.

Don't forget that the teacher's role in class is really to guide you along in your training. The time you really assimilate what you learn is the time you take to practice on your own. Unfortunately, some of us have more time than others, so any time you are able to put in outside class is always a mega-plus.
