Ban him. He's caused nothing but trouble and is the worst CMA troll ever!

I've been watching from the shadows and he's brought up some very good points. No reason to ban him.

Points that have been re-hashed forever.
I've been here since 97 0r 8 and have seen all these cans of worms opened again and again and.....

I know where it's going. Troll - Fu for sure. Trust me.

I don't want him anywhere. He is a reputed troll and I see where all this is going. Same ISP, Same old song and Dance.

I've been on this site for 8 years and posted only how many ?

I don't post much and I don't post often. I post when I think something is imposrtant or when Ross ****es me off.

Trust me. Ban SC Guy.

PS - Slovak sabotage never works when you have slovak blood in the veins .

awwww, Bai He, I feel the love :D

If I understand things, SC-GUY is anything but a troll, he is a respected practicioner...

he just seems to hold onto a lot of incorrect ideas, fueled by his ignorance of things. And since he is respected, he expects us to just accept it

we won't :D

BAI HE

No he's a crappy troll. You're a ggod on who likes to troll.
There in lies the difference.
It's a matter of bandwidth.

This guy should be banned asap. We had trouble with him on sooo many other sites.

I followed him, Unmatchable and a few others in the past.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands?

Oh god A "styx" lyric come to life....

Greetings,

I have been observing the Kungfu magazine forums since 2001. I just joined in this past November. I am also aware of sc_guy; I know who he is (I don't know him) and I have observed his posts in the empty flower forum (I have yet to join there).

The word "troll" does not describe him. He does ask questions to see where other peoples heads are at. Martial discipline requires an awareness that goes beyond rote learning or fad training. And he takes a look at that, too. It is a learning experience for him, as well, because America has a very different kind of martial tradition. And through this I see a search for understanding. I can say this about him even though he did not return my email a few months ago.

Again, I do not personally know this man. But I know that he is my Brother. He is welcome here.

mickey

Apoweyn, FatherDog and myself have had our posts copied over there too. They were for good reasons, though.

looks like you're right. I think FD was quoted in the cinnabar palm thread (which is actually a thread we had here recently) and ap and I were quoted on a thread about "good" CMA - I don't see that thread anymore...

guys, if you have beefs with people repostiung quotes from you from one forum to another or even into an article et al, don't be.

THere is no copyright on your thoughts you drop on these boards and tehy are in teh public domain.

Remember that. Heh heh. While you may be providing someone with info, you may be providing someone else with ammunition to ridicule you with depending on their point of view.

just sayin.

p.s i don't think were gonna ban sc_guy, but mpo is that he lives in a box as mp would say :D, And I move that Rub should reveal his true avatar, which is not the awesome strongbad, but rather is the hopeless melonhead homestarrunner.

cheers

I always thought of RTB as more Pom Pom-esque.

rubthebuddha
01-09-2004, 09:19 AM
hm. coach z is as heavy as a fountain pen, so i can't be him. pom pom is wider than he is tall, so not him either. build of about, say, the poopsmith, but with beefy arms and calves. and better hygiene.

edit: strong bad isn't a bad representation, either. i have the voice down pat, as my fiancée was reminded of for about an eight-hour period in the car.

Ah, who to ban? Who to ban...

Banning is really simple - just a flick of a button - unbanning is just as easy. Personally, I really don't care that much about what personal baggage any member might have on other forums - it's interesting, but until they cross the line here, everyone gets their fair share.

So how do you get banned? First is easy - posting porn or too much obscenity - after all this is a family show (we'll say PG13 in the MPAA ratings). As for trolls, well, there's a little troll in all of us sometimes. When the trolling gets out of hand, our moderators will set a rule to that member via PM, drawing a line in the sand, if you will. If that line is crossed, that member is banned.

And KL is right, the forum is not really copyrighted, so anything you say can and will be used against you. Mind your tongue if your timid about that. Again, personally, it's just an internet forum, so if you're that attached to your statements, perhaps you should take up a passtime where you don't have to state anything. Or publish, like a real writer. (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/about/guidelines.php) :p

I followed the link to that other forum, didn't see anything over there except typical chat, maybe it was erased, but did see Ken Fish... always nice to see him back from the grave ....

Or publish, like a real writer. gene just wants people to ... er ... submit ... to him.

I thought this was a magazine, a show?

"All the world is a stage and we are but players" :-)

This isn't a magazine, it's a website that is a part of a magazine which is in turn a part of the larger Tiger Claw international.

This forum can get quite entertaining, ergo "the show".

'family show' is a colloquial term. It's a family magazine too. We have a lot of young readers and we want to raise them up right, as best as we can.

I don't think most of us were bothered about being quoted on another forum. Hell, I took it as flattery. But since I'm generally curious to see how other people respond to what I write, I wish I'd known sooner. So I could have participated.

But I have no illusions about 'owning' what I write here.

No one ever quotes me.............................:(

Although, I had a TKD school steal some wording off my flyer once. :D

As for SC_Guy, I don't allways agree with him, I even called him *Silly* once on Emptyflower, but over all, he's a very knowledgeable, and experianced practitioner of the arts, and apparently has a warehouse full of research and documented history and whatnot, so I say keep him.

Besides, it's refreshing to see someone who takes the traditional approach seriously for once.

Once I realized what (not who) I was talking to in sc_guy, it all made a lot more sense. The thing is, he's like your racist grandfather. That part of him isn't going to change--it's too ingrained. But that doesn't mean you can't learn a thing or two about stuff from him.

Too, he left and probably not coming back any time soon.

I'm not sure what all the fuss was about and I didn't totally follow it. I can only say that IMO if you like CMA, you like sc guy. SC type throws are very impressive in a kickboxing match.

SifuAbel
01-13-2004, 01:24 AM
I think the point was that SC guy didn't want to deal with the "drunken sailor" style of web messeging we do here at KFM.

I mean, god forbid we actually start discussing things like adults.

OK, shooting hot coffee out your nose is not an enjoyable experience. But that's probably the biggest dose of the correct I have ever been served. LMFAO!
